Managing CR at Dairy Crest

In our last annual report we stated that we had established a CR committee—chaired by Carole Piwnica—with a mandate to review and implement Dairy Crest’s CR strategy. As a result, we are pleased to report here that we have delivered on our promise, and to set out our commitment to corporate responsibility, our CR strategy, and how, and by whom, it is being managed.

Dairy Crest’s CR Committee approves our CR strategy and plans, and regularly reports to the Board with updates and reviews.

Group Solicitor, Caroline Slettengren, leads CR Champions from the group and business units in putting the strategy into action. We have appointed Champions in four key areas: Workplace, Marketplace, Community and Environment. These Champions form part of the CR Steering Committee, chaired by Caroline, which meets each month to ensure that we are implementing the CR strategy in line with our plans.
